A Fair to Remember by Stacey Joy Netzel

Cute little story....loved the chemistry between Tara and Wes, and Sugar was incorrigible. Nothing too complicated, but a fun little read. Will be checking out the other Redemption books....

I actually read the 2nd book first, but found this story to be equally charming. Some of the interactions between Caleb and Max were only so-so, but it still left me with a nice fluffy feeling.

I waffle on this one. I was initially fairly put off by the extreme similarities to Twilight...not the same, but anyone who's read the Twilight series will immediately think of it for so many of the beginning plot parts... Kimmie didn't really seem to be that good of a friend...but then again, it's been a while since I went to high school... Yeah, I can't put it into words...sometimes I loved the chemistry between Ben and Camelia...sometimes it just didn't feel like there was enough there, and more like they liked each other based on the circumstances of their connection rather than just b/c they liked each other. *shrugs* It was ok, but I probably won't get any more in the series.
Are You Going to Kiss Me Now? by Sloane Tanen

3.5 stars. It started off really good -- loved Francesca's snarky humour and wit, and view of the world....liked the different characters...just felt it ended rather abruptly, wasn't as smooth as I would have liked...so was left thinking "it's done?" Totally called Jonah from the beginning -- high fives me!
Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles

Mixed feelings. If the book didn't have a sequel, I think the ending would have killed my enjoyment of it. But I guess at least this way I get more Maggie and Caleb...
Return to Paradise by Simone Elkeles

Well...I needed it, so that makes it good right there. Got a little impatient with the main characters here and there, but overall still thoroughly enjoyed it. Even enjoyed the bit of depth on secondary characters from reSTART.
Coming Home by Julie Sellers

I don't think it was the book necessarily, though it was a bit slow. It just wasn't the right type of subject matter for me. I don't want children at all, so it was hard to get into the mindset of the characters....I sympathized with them, but couldn't imagine making the decisions they made in the desperation to have a child. I guess it was very realistic, and sometimes I want my characters to be better than human beings...or maybe I just wasn't in the right mood. I enjoyed the ending though, it came together ok in the end. So basically, ignore my review, I don't think I'm the right person to be listening to....

It wasn't that the story or characters weren't enjoyable...I just found this book very slow to read and hard to get into...I don't know how long the book actually was (b/c I was reading it on my kindle), but it just felt really slow.

Was nice to see Patrick's story...I'd say if you enjoyed the other Daly Ways, you'll enjoy this one too.
