We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
3.0
This was a short essay of 50 odd pages adapted from Adichie's TEDx talk.
Honestly I'd started with some high expectations. Though it was indeed good, unfortunately there wasn't anything new to what she said/wrote/observed/experienced. A few instances might be restricted to a particular cultural context. I didn't really find anything that hasn't already been discussed, even experienced by most of us in some form or the other.
BUT what this piece does is that it explains in very succinct manner: what is NOT feminism and what all DOES NOT make one a feminist.
So recommended for everyone as a starting point just to briefly understand the concept and the meaning of Feminism.
I'l give 2.25 underwhelming Stars to this.
