How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie

2.5 ⭐️ Physical Book - Library
I really enjoyed the start of the book, if had promise and I actually liked Grace’s take on life…
Then she just got contradictory, and the middle became laborious. Then I enjoyed initial twist, and then… well, it just kind of fell on deaf ears in the end…
I understand why it might be enjoyable, however I found it incredibly frustrating in the end.

3.5 ⭐️ Physical Book - Hebden Charity Shop
This was an interesting book and not a all what I expected! I enjoyed the tale of the lost people in the caves, the ghostly aspect and I enjoyed how Mosse dealt with the implications and nuances of grief on Freddie.
What I loved the most though was how she described the landscapes. Gorgeous.
Although not my favourite book, I like the writing style and will read another Mosse book again!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book like it in my entire life, nor do I think I will ever read a book like it again.
The momentum just picks up as you go through the book, my heart was racing towards the end, and although I struggled with some parts, it does not deter from the fact it’s an incredible story.
It holds a mirror up to some ways of life today and the last part of the book had me holding my breath right up until the last few words.
This book will stick with me for a long time.

Oh WONDERFUL! What a fantastic book! What a great and funny writing style! It was like having a little mini soap opera unfolding right here in your very hands.
Perfectly hilarious. I already want to read it again. And I already want to read the sequels! Wonderful characters. Snappy humour, heartfelt in just the right way! Wonderful!
