I loved the premise. I loved the characters. I loved the overall plot. I absolutely loved the semi-scientific basis for the plot and the lesson it tries to teach, kind of. The writing is quite good as well.
And then I really don't appreciate that kind of ending. I have questions left. It looks like there's a sequel to be had but so far I don't think there's one in the works? If there is, I'll add the star back, 'cause I really liked the book aside from the ending.
