Made me actually feel good about being a woman, empowered in a different way. The writing is well organized and entertaining, but is repetitive in the beginning and seems to contradict itself sometimes before elaborating. I think some things could be clearer, but overall this is a must read for everyone.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
Got bored. Sagan is a good writer but I'm too familiar with astronomy and the scientific world to learn much in this particular book.

This book shows so many archetypes of men and why they suck. It's also a lesson on not losing yourself and your freedoms when falling in love, or for any man at all.

Spoke to me, Jeannette and I have a lot in common. Fantastic account of really tough topics.

I finished the book in one day. It's forgettable, there's no huge life advice or anything. It's enjoyable for the most part, but usually the funny things dad says is just a lot of cursing. The author and his father both say some gross things about sex and women.

This is definitely one of Christie's weaker Poirot novels. The ending is a bit contrived, it leads the conclusion to feel kind of pointless. Not my favorite, but still relatively enjoyable.

Some new (to me) ideas on studies backing why we play tricks on our own brains. But no real conclusions are made, I don't feel like I've particularly learned much. I downloaded a PDF of the book, I would not pay for it.

Compelling story and adorable characters. Thoroughly enjoyed. The ending
is slightly too "happily ever after" for me, but I am glad it ends nicely.
