The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert

chalked full of excess information. would've enjoyed it a lot more if it was concise. or if I didn't have to write a report on it. it was okay. 2.5/5
The Toll by Neal Shusterman

I stopped reading halfway through, and never felt like picking it back up, which is kind of depressing given I was obsessed with the first two books in this series. Overall, the best thing about this book is the storytelling and writing. It ended nicely, but took ages. 3.5/5

God. I hated this book. Only plus one star because the idea was alright, and I liked Kiran sometimes, and the dad. I hate literally everything else about this book. How in the world did it get endorsed by James Patterson? It feels like it was written by a 12 year old and then proofread by other 12 year olds who didn't want to hurt their friends' feelings. This book has exactly 0 redeeming qualities.
