I enjoyed it, but found it dragged a fair bit in places. The chapters were very long and honestly I wasn't sure where the plot was going for most of the book - even the ending wasn't what I expected but not necessarily in a good way.
The characters seemed flat and 1 dimensional, and I'm not even 100% sure I liked any of them all that much.
The food descriptions were mouth watering and somewhat inspiring. I'd love to try the rice with butter and soy sauce just to taste it.

A gripped murder mystery/serial killer story. I was invested from the beginning after the first mystery unfolded in front of us.
Ellery and Ezra really had their hands full with what was happening in Echo Ridge!

A lovely book based on the BBC Series "Ghosts" (UK version).
It displays "artefacts" from the history of Button House and the ghosts that inhabit it.
It took a out a year to read as it was a "flick through when I don't have another book" book. But Still thoroughly enjoyed it.

A cute collection of short stories mainly about new or young love. Levithan captures the feeling of love purely and made me feel like i was back at school.
I was a little disappointed at only having 1x f/f love story, but i'll cut my losses and just accept that.
Rating 3.5 stars because I found some of the stories a little too convenient and a little naive. But that's what YA is and i appreciate that. I think I mainly felt that way because (obviously) we only saw the intense moments.

A fun book with a fun concept. Execution wasn't amazing, but was I still enjoyed reading it.
Main complaint is that the chapters were so long! Like a chapter with 2 POVs (Fridge and Daisy) was over 40 pages, and couple have been split into seperate chapters. It would be been much more easily readable.

The Woman in Me by Britney Spears
5.0
I will never rate a memoir this deep and emotional anything less than 5 ☆s.
I had no clue about what Britney went through and only vaguely knew about the conservatorship via the news when it ended.
The narrator, Michelle Williams, really pulled the story together and narrated it beautifully. I felt every line.
I will be more aware of Britney's struggles in the future. She deserves that much.

The End of the Fucking World by Charles Forsman
4.0
A fun graphic novel the inspired the Channel 4/Netflix series.
We follow James and Alyssa through alternating perspectives as they navigate life on the run.
Alyssa ignores James' violent tendencies and James protects her from a ritualistic murderer.
This is an interesting story and illustrated uniquely. I'm looking forward to reading Forsman's other book "I am not okay with this".

Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined by Stephenie Meyer
this was a solid 3.5☆ read until the final few chapters. I was really not expecting it to end that way and was so surprised when the decision was made for that ending to occur!
Not a bad "what if" of the Twilight book. Liked Beau as a character more than I liked Bella I think. And Charlie was 100% meant to be a boy dad rather than a girl dad.
Having just read the entire series for the first time including Bree Tanner and Midnught Sun, I'm surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it
