This was a really good page turner, suspenseful kind of book. It was a quick read and I didn't want to stop. However, I DO NOT like books that leave me hanging so the ending kept me from giving it five stars.

I am still processing this one. And I feel physically exhausted, both of which tell me this was a really good book.

I loved this. I don't even think I can explain why I loved it so much or why I'm still thinking about Hazel and Gus and why I want to track down John Green a la Peter Van Houten and demand that he tell me what happened after the ending. (But I thought the ending was perfect.) I suppose it's because I have direct, personal experience with losing a young person and Green's observations on life and death and making the most out of both just struck me at my core. I listened to the audio version, which was great, but I will be buying a copy so that I can highlight and read it over and over and over.

I am making a mess of this review, but I just loved it so, so much. I loved Hazel and Gus and every single other character, even Peter Van Houten and I never wanted it to end.
