One of the very few romantic comedies I've read that were actually funny.

Such a strong start; such an average rest. The Amina/Raksh relationship was the highlight.

Too much action and too little villagers compared to the first one, but it still has the same charm.

I wanted it to be so much more unhinged!

The blandest of bland romances. These two need to get into therapy, not into a relationship.

It just always are the books you expect absolutely nothing from that completely floor you, remind you what it means to be a human and why you're so lucky for it.

Best read of 2024 so far.

This was so disappointing. Where is the 'feminist retelling'? This book consisted mostly just of the men's stories as we know it, and in one sentences, we got to know how it also affected the women. Penelope's chapters seemed really almost ridiculous.
