Some stuck out to me more than others. I love her writing & her composition of words. Some of her thoughts echoed mine, I loved  being able to sit with that.

I generally like to go in blind with the books I choose to read as I like to think of it as part of the fun of reading. This was not a good choice for that. Granted, this was not Sayaka Murata levels of repulsion but I would say it comes pretty close. The imagery, the language, and the scene made my skin crawl. I had to give it 3.5 stars because of how fast I finished it - which I guess speaks to how unputdownable this book is.

This book is violent, gruesome, and graphic. I would recommend this but with caution!
