This book took a different approach than the last two books and I can say, I was into it.

I was scared for a moment tho.

You had already made me cry once….

I liked it tho

Potions.
Betrayal.
Dead husbands.
What more could you want?!
(Kidding, maybe)

This book beautiful intertwines past and present, it reminds us how connected we are to what we were; if you only look.

I did not agree with the ending.
I hated it to be honest.
I don’t think that was the decision to make.

But…. To each their own journey.

For a middle grade book this was phenomenal.

Ridiculously inclusive, adoption, goth, geek, LGBTQ, and more. There’s so much insight here.

I totally connected with the main character and loved her fierceness and “fuck you” attitude.

There is a romantic element that plays out but isn’t the focal point of the story.

I loooooove her foster mom. Period.

This book. It was a damn fine book.

@authoradalyngrace creates such a visual presence!

I just loved Signa’s journey, her growth and self acceptance.

Definitely kept me engaged the entire time.
