Honestly, one of the most beautiful books i’ve ever read. the writing in this is so poetic and beautiful, it almost made me cry 🥺💗. it took me longer than i expected, mainly because the book is quite sad 😭. it’s a heart-wrenching and beautiful story not just about romantic love but family love and self-love. so i will say, if you like fluffy romance, this is not the one for you 😭

I loved this book!! 💖 I feel like anyone looking for a nice heist and historical fantasy book would devour this easily!! I think one of the things i loved about it the most was that despite it being set in the 1920s, it wasn’t solely focused on racism and black pain. Also, there was a cute little romance that didn’t divert from the plot 🥰🥰
