Here we are again with another Grey signature "finish in one day" books. I normally hate slow burn romances but Rachel has a way of making me enjoy everything she puts on my kindle shelves.

Another Grey Book to Inhale

I stumbled upon R.S. Grey a few years ago, and now everytime a new one releases I INHALE IT. This one may the the fastest though.

'Not So Nice Guy' is so much better than your usual friends to lovers romance, a troupe that usually give me severe second hand anxiety from the unrequited love tension. NSNG (as I'm dubbing it) has you rooting for them from page 1 as you actually laugh out loud because these characters are just funny.

This is not my usual romance book but damn if it didn’t deliver. These characters are well written and develop through the whole story; and it is so much more than your average smut novel.

I guess the moral of the story is don't judge a book on the synopsis all the time?

I hardly have time to sit and read a book in one day anymore, that was for the young college me who didn't value sleep. However I tore through this book in one day barely wanting to go celebrate my birthday properly and stayed up until ungodly hours to finish it.

The writing is captivating, the characters relatable, and a story that kept its pace through the whole thing.
Swear on This Life is a heart wrenching story about how the past can lead to your best future. Also who doesn't love a good romance novel?
