I hated everyone in this book except for Cam. Why are we normalizing such toxic relationships for 15 year olds?

This book was beautiful, heartbreaking, magical, and just ...perfect. I honestly can't wait to reread it.

First 2/3 was pretty slow to me but I really enjoyed the end. I hope she does more POVs like she did in the end of this one in the final books, Violet alone gets a bit boring at times.

Some things did not age well, but I still love this story!

I particularly enjoyed (and was enraged by) the chapter focusing on how women are treated in the medical field-- both as practitioners and as patients

Not as magical as the first two but still enjoyable. My kids (5 and 8) both give it 5 stars.

I appreciate Scott's honesty, and definitely see his own growth in his retelling of his journey with Austin ...however I really struggled to not judge several choices of his as a parent and husband. Many of the events in their lives -- that had very lucky outcomes -- made me extremely uncomfortable. I will be interested to see how this book is portrayed as a movie.

This book was trying so hard to be fancy with the dialogue and inner monologue that it was cringy when she couldn't keep it up all the time. Add in the jarring shifts to characters going from the land of Faerie to being at JCPenney, Target, and Burning Man? This just wasn't it for me. I will not be reading more of this series.
