As a whole story, with everything connecting together by the end of it, I really enjoyed it. I got a little lost in the midst of reading it with all the astrology and cats. Yes, astrology and cats. 

Cliffhangers are the absolute worst as Anya studies with a new elderly neighbour and prepares for the final exams. Will she succeed or fail?! I don’t know but I need volume 14 now! 

Last year of high school and on to the second term with 21 more friends to make. Komi continues to work hard to communicate with others and to make new friends. Definitely seeing a lot more dialogue from our girl now and I’ll be keeping up with it until she makes 100. 

Calling this a Mulan retelling is only true in that a daughter disguises as a son to infiltrate a men-only institution. Still appreciate the world, the engineering tasks and trials, as well as the plot twists and reveals that can only lead to more heartbreak and devastation in its sequel. I can’t wait. 

Cozy and warm vibes continue in this sequel to the Kamogawa Food Detectives with more stories from new clients at the diner. Touching, bittersweet, and mouth-watering as all the foods served is described. 

Absolutely fantastic and magical. And for all the debate happening in the Goodreads reviews, clearly many have missed the point of this retelling. Or purposely do so; perhaps we can call you Sage Vamadeva. 

Cute, innocent, and weird young girl moves to a new town with her father where she experiences new things with joy and excitement. Was on the fence about picking this manga up but will definitely be continuing. 

They get closer and then all of a sudden, a line is drawn. And a chance opens up for someone else. The anticipation around this love triangle is agonizing and I need to see what happens next. Hearts to be broken for sure. 

The competition comes to a close as the team tries to complete the task ahead of them; even if the tea they make will not be evaluated. More secrets are revealed and surprising characters to keep me on my toes. 

Seems like a pointless rival that only frustrates me more as Suiren continues to be passive in allowing herself to be dragged along and even kissed on the cheek. Next volume will determine whether I continue or not.
