Rare for a sequel to be as good as the first book but The Hawthorne Legacy is just that. The mysteries, the secret codes, and the secrets continue to unravel as Avery tries to figure out her place in this new world. 

A fascinating world in which there is another world within the mirrors. Though I dislike a heroine who makes rash, senseless decisions. Thank goodness for character development. 

A healing story that takes place in a laundry - stains that can be washed and creases to be ironed out - Marigold Mind Laundry is a book for all of us to reflect on the parts of our lives that bring us unhappiness and what we can do to move forward. 

Such a unique and fun premise with a laundromat in the afterlife, a return to life with a search for a soulmate, and the grumpy neighbour who ends up helping in the search. Had a lot of fun reading this and not quite sure how it would all turn out.
