Such a great book, and if you’ve ever been to the Ozarks you know that the author does a fantastic job describing the beauty. Growing up in a family of hunters, with both beagles and coon hounds this book really took me back to my childhood. I read through laughter, smiles, and tears. A really beautiful way to reminisce on a childhood long since gone. ❤️

This is a wonderful read. You get a rare, wondrous look into RBGs life. And she is just as amazing as we all have always hoped she was. 10/10 recommend.

I really liked the idea of this book, and have been a big Britney fan since high school. However, this was a tough read for me as it seemed like something someone in middle school wrote. There were some inconsistencies in her stories as well.  All that said, I truly believe it is caused by years of confinement and probably being medicated when she didn’t need it.  I’m so glad she was finally able to get out from under the thumb of her family.  I hope she truly loves how she wants to now, and is happy for the rest of her days.

I don’t know that I have words for this book. Jesse tells her story - a harrowing one full of abuse and sorrow - with grace. Fills it with love and gentleness.  Read with care… but definitely read. ❤️
