I don’t know if this book actually deserves four stars by most other people’s standards, but I throughly enjoyed it. I think Katee Robert is one of the better spice writers out there right now. She writes compelling characters with believable flaws and contradictions that make you like them despite their sometimes questionable choices and actions. She writes a wide variety of characters with different personalities, motivations, and interests. Not to mention her spice scenes are some of the best out there. This books is no exception and I can’t wait to continue with this anthology series.

This book is much better than first one. I was far more invested in Chapman and Fallo’s relationship than the duo in the first one, as I felt their dynamic was more compelling.
