I can read this book two times straight through, over eight hours in transit.

There are few books I would want to do that with.

Oh lordy, this book employs some questionable racial terms. And I'm disappointed at how poorly it was written.

That being sad, I do enjoy adventure stories to read on the bus. And Dr. No's demise is pretty impressive/hilarious.

Besides a compelling turn of events and beautifully written prose, this book also has a very hot scene in a library. And it ends with a stop to the archives, so what more could you ask for?

Not *quite* as fun as I remembered, but still pretty good.
