From the very beginning of this book I couldn’t bare think about putting it down. Super intriguing and mysterious and even when you think you know what’s going on it takes a new turn. Great book.

Holy cow. From start to finish this book had me in suspense mode. I needed to know what was happening. So well told. I loved it.

This book had so much potential and I feel like it could of been way better with out misogynistic attributes of almost every male character. I get the authors we’re trying to portray a different way of life with the fae people. My problem was that only the male characters were the only ones being filthy and gross with the women and overly sexual when most were underage. Even the teachers. Then you have the two main leads thinking how sexy these guys are when they’ve done such terrible things to them. It made each chapter harder and harder to get through. I hear the first three are pretty bad and hard to read and I think this could be the main reason why. I’m going to try at a later date to read the second and see how it goes. The story is there and it does has potential to be great it we could get past the I want to date the person who tortured and sexualized me bit.

Another fun ride with the talbot family. Lost some people and it was rough. Every book takes this journey to another level. Looking forward to more.

I swear I never know what’s going to get me gasping or laughing or crying in these books but never the less I’m also surprised to how Mike can get out of any insane situation.

The fiat few chapters I wasn’t really sure I was going to enjoy this read. After I got to about a waiter if the way in a I was hooked. It’s a simple read and simple story thus far but it’s hard to find a Lesbian romance anywhere let alone a fantasy one with mermaids. I’m looking forward to reading the rest in the series to see how everything unfolds.
