with friend’s identity being revealed, where will this story go from now? or is there more to “friend”? it must be. one thing that bothers me is that i feel like some of the characters that were introduced a few volumes back just disappears. how bout the mafias gang? that young detective? chouno could be the key of pope assassination case-solving but it just went by like nothing happened. i dont know if that case will be discussed again in the future. for now i’ll wait and keep moving

guessed it right. kinda silly for yoshitsune to realize just by asking his elementary school teacher. but to think it’s still 12 volumes to go, is he really friend?

i have the slightest idea as to who friend really is. urasawa did a great job in putting some clues to friend’s identity in the fragments of some flashbacks.

i looked up to kenji’s song on youtube that was posted 15 years ago and sobbed so hard. the melody, the guitar and the voice are so raw. you could really feel how kenji was somehow trying all he could to tell people the truth yet no one listens.
for this volume, it wasnt as good as the previous one. kinda feel the latter half is a filler chapters tho it may lead to friend’s true identity. love the depiction of that disney land alike aka tomodachi land. at day it’s like some futuristic amusement park and once gets dark, it gives you eerie vibes you wish to not ever go there.

the bloody new year’s eve flashback slash reveal is going so smoothly with newly characters that perhaps is some truth-revealer key point.
