okay, while most of the writing felt fairly usual for a YA novel - understandable, given the youth of the characters - it kept me interested & entertained the whole way through.
that being said, i probably would have given it just the four star rating, had the ending not provoked such an emotional and heartwrenching response from me.
beautifully written & bittersweet, the ending alone prompted the perfect score from me.

Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda was cute, made me laugh a few times, but it wasn't /quite/ what I was hoping for.
THIS book, however? Fantastic. It made me laugh, and tear up, and feel that good old teen angst & emotion that this kind of book aims to create. 5/5. 💜
