“You have an obsession with wondering if I’m trying to kill you or keep you safe.”
“Don’t get all shy now. I just watched you come all over my bike.”
“Going to therapy counts as therapy. Cutting people up counts as murder.”
I liked the enemies to lovers relationship development between the MMC and the FMC. Their banter was fun to read. They were both from different worlds, but in the end, not that different from each other.
The crew was full of interesting characters, and I would love to learn more about them, especially Evie.
The pacing was a bit inconsistent, there were some parts where the pacing was slow, even a bit sluggish. On the other hand, some parts felt a bit rushed. Also the ending was a little anticlimactic and I personally had higher hopes for it.
Overall a good biker romance with a revenge plot, found family and enemies to lovers dynamic.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
“There’s no stopping this. This needs to be done.” “Don’t lie, church boy. It’s a sin.” “Let me guess, Halloween is about facing your fears too?” “This isn’t home, it’s Hell.” “It’s not the house that’s haunted, it’s your heart.”
This book was absolutely amazing! One of my favorite reads this year. I loved every second of it and already feel like I need to reread it soon!
The relationship development between the MMC, Harlan, and the FMC, Araceli, was so good, and I loved their twisted dynamic.
Beautifully written, and the writing made me feel like I was in the middle of the action. Both the characters and the world were well developed and intriguing.
The storyline was full of twists and turns that had me guessing what was going to happen next. This was one of those books that really grabbed me and had me in a chokehold. There were multiple parts that made me second-guess (in a good way), and I'm sure I'll notice and learn new things when I reread it.
I’m not going to say much about what happens because I don’t want to accidentally spoil anything. All I’m going to say is that if you enjoy psychological horrors / thrillers, with complex characters and an amazing storyline, I highly recommend adding this to your tbr.

“Just like all the other men in my life, you just want something from me.”
“I will kill anyone who touches you.”
Short, fast-paced moose shifter romance. Part of An Unusual Shifter Anthology.
Even though the book was short, there was a lot happening. I don’t think I’ve read any moose shifter books before, but after reading this, I’m interested in reading more.

“I knew what was coming next. I knew this story, didn’t I?”
“Many are deceived by kindness. No one can fault anyone for such a thing.”
Cute and magical fairytale retelling with self discovery and healing.
Nice, different spin on familiar fairytales. I liked how the fairytales were connected to each others and also to the real world. I also liked how the FMC was balancing between the fairytale world and the real world.
The writing was descriptive and made me feel like I was in a middle of a fairytale.

“What’s a Halloween without a little murder, mayhem, and madness?” “Why do I get the feeling that I’m going to regret this later?” “You can run, but you can’t hide, girlie.” “Do you want to play, Phantom?”
Great, short and spicy why choose Halloween novella filled with vampires, demons, ghosts & witches.
Even though the book was quite short, there was a lot happening. The pacing was fast, but never felt rushed, and there was still time for character building and development.
“It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve gutted someone alive.” “It’s a hunt Sinclair. I’m killing her, not fucking her.” “A hernia is more lovable than you.” “Where’s the fun if the prey doesn’t put up a fight?”
This book was amazing!
The chemistry and banter between Cecilia and Darian were top tier. And I loved both the forced marriage and enemies to lovers elements.
I loved learning more about Darian as a character throughout the book. The flashback scenes were great at showing what happened to him in the past and how it affected him as a character in the present.
The storyline itself was great and there was a lot happening. There were also multiple plot twists I didn’t see coming.
This was the 4th Exodus series book I’ve read and they’ve all been amazing! I can’t wait to read the rest of them.
It was also nice to see some familiar characters from other books, like the Sinclair men from The Devil’s Society series by Kinsley Kincaid. I can’t wait to read Unholy and see what happens next!

“Why don’t you cut off their dicks? That’s what I would do.” “You’re going to be my little toy tonight.” “If you need an emotional-support serial killer, then you aren’t ready for your first murder.” “This is actually mayo, right?”
This was one of the funniest books I’ve read in a while. There were multiple parts that made me laugh out loud (Chef Maurice’s dinners, piña cum-lada, pineapple, the Priest-Exorciser, etc).
There was a lot happening in this book, but also a lot of the storyline was focused on character, friendship, and relationship development. I loved the friendship between Cat and Kendra, and the growing relationship between Kendra and Ezra. The banter and chemistry between them were amazing.
There were multiple great side characters and I would love to learn more about them and their stories.
Overall great story, amazing characters, and the spice was spicing. I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens in Alaska.

“You are knowledgeable in many, many things, but in practice…” “You’ve put an apple with a pear and created a rotten affair.” “This is not the time for your shameless flirting.” “I would call him a snake, but that would be a disservice to snakes…”
Great continuation to a great series. The book picks up right where the previous one, Queen of Hearts, ended.
Emilia continues to be a great FMC and I enjoy reading about her story. In this book, there was a lot of focus on the possible relationship between Emilia and Valerian, and of course, preparation for the coronation
I’ve enjoyed seeing Emilia grow as a character throughout all these 5 books. Her storyline is interesting, and she has grown a lot as a character. I feel like she would be a great friend.
Laurence of course continued to be his charming self. I like the relationship between him and Khaja, and can’t wait to read what happens to them next, and what happens between Laurence and Cali.
Clayton is still one of my favorite characters, and I love the chemistry between him and Emilia.
All the characters, both main characters and side characters in this series are well written and well thought out. They have their own individual characteristics, and they also help to move the plot forward.
The book was full of court politics, and the plot keeps getting more and more intricate book by book. I can’t wait to read the next book!

“Sometimes I don’t know if it’s better to feel nothing at all or everything.”
I loved this book! Short and spicy with great storyline and characters.
It was beautifully written and dealt with some heavy topics like grief, death, and mental illness, and in my opinion those were well-written. For me this book was really emotional. There were lighthearted, funny moments, but also multiple heavy, sad moments.
The FMC, Lilith was a survivor facing survivor’s guilt over a car accident that killed her other half, her twin sister. Seeing her struggle with guilt and grief was heartbreaking, and on top of those she was dealing with a toxic relationship and had a stalker who invaded her dreams. At the beginning of the book she was so broken and I loved how she healed and evolved as a character throughout the story.
The MMC, Death was an intriguing character. He was dominating and possessive, but also surprisingly sweet. I loved the letters he wrote for her. And of course he was a shadow daddy! I loved the relationship development and dynamic between Death and Lilith. And the spice between them was so good!
The ending made me cry, and I loved it. I can’t wait to read more books from the author!
