Jack of Hearts by Lev A.C. Rosen

This was such a wholesome, well-rounded story. Jack’s struggle is so candid and realistic and the fact that it’s #ownvoices for the queer representation makes it 10482 times better!
Dirty Exes by Rachel Van Dyken

I absolutely devoured this book! The main character, Blaire, was kinda annoying but Colin was EVERYTHING! One of my triggers is cheating so at times, this was difficult to process emotionally but in my opinion, the way Colin handled all the trauma that was laid before him was incredible. Blaire was cynical, in a way that was completely understandable given was she went through. I love the way cheating and it’s ramifications was portrayed (maybe love isn’t the best word because I absolutely hate cheating/cheater and would never wish that kinda of hurt on anyone). Overall, this was great so it got four stars. Will I continue reading the second book? Yes.
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

What a way to start my 2020! This book is the definition of what a 5 stars should be! Laugh out loud funny and painstakingly emotional, this book has my heart. Casey had me laughing through my tears and not wanting to put it down! Every character was so well thought out and complex while also being realistic and relatable! This book truly lives up to all the hype and definitely deserves to be the winner of not one but two Goodreads categories for 2019!
I find myself wishing to be able to go back in time to before reading this book just so I can experience it again! It evoked so my physically visceral reactions from me that I had my brother and mom giving me weird side eyes every time I laughed or started crying or chanted out a string of profanity! I love love love everything about this book and will never not recommend it or stop talking about it! I said it once and I’ll say it again, Casey McQuiston is THAT bitch.

I love this manga and the anime! I watched the anime before I read the manga but it still has the same effect. I absolutely adore these characters. I love how Natsu is so unapologetic when it comes to friendship!
Dirty Letters by Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland

This was surprisingly amazing! I went into this book for a quick/smutty read (if that’s what you want, this ain’t it) while it did have good smut, it also dealt with some hard topics such as death of a loved one and mental health issues (+ how they affect ones ability to live a “normal” life) Despite all that, I really enjoyed this.
The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur

The way she is able to articulate how it is to be the child of immigrants is something that I have struggles to come up with. Although Milk & Honey is my favorite of her poem collections, this one is worth every second.
The Lost Sisters by Holly Black

I loved this novella but not in the obvious way. I loved it in that it just cemented the fact that I hate Taryn and Locke. Taryn is self-centered and quite possibly the worst sister ever. For someone that preaches putting family above all else, she sure treats Jude like trash and lets everyone around her do the same. All 35ish pages is just Taryn trying to excuse her shitty behavior as a sister by blaming Jude for finally standing up for THEM. Anyways, catch me reading the rest of the series because Jude and Cardan are LITERALLY the loves of my life <3
The Umbrella Academy, Vol. 1: Apocalypse Suite by Tony Šercer

A bit disappointing. I loved the show on Netflix (the first season more than the second) and one of my favorite things about it is Claus' humor which is completely nonexistent in the comic.
NOT A BOOK: Lore Olympus, Season 1 by NOT A BOOK

This is one of the most creative retelling I’ve ever laid eyes on \\ so in love with the art style and the characters
