Did not finish book. Stopped at 32%.
i wanted to challenge myself this year with books i wouldn't normally pick up, and i thought this would be a good place to start. the writing is beautiful and i am intrigued by the story. however, it is much too dense for me, and i don't think i'm that fond of dark academia as a genre.

i can see what others love so much about it. it's just not for me.
