Fast-paced romantic suspense between Pax, a super hot Green Beret, and Morgan, a super foxy archeologist. Morgan and Pax are both confident any competent in their jobs (a refreshing change from many contemporary romances). High on the heat scale. The writing was a little bit repetitive, but the story was exciting and fast.

Heroine is too insecure/flaky. Hero is too perfect: hot, understanding, brings her Cheetos.

It’s fine, but a little repetitive. Also, I have a hard time distinguishing between the narrator speaking versus the narrator quoting other people (I can’t always tell when someone is being quoted).

Grumpy/sunshine, contemporary workplace romance with no angst. She's an adjunct professor with a part time bartending job, he’s a 42 year old student (and widower). Lighthearted, sweet, spicy.

Ugh. He’s too perfect. She’s too… messy, suspicious, insecure, dirty-haired, rude. Over it.

3rd in the Palace of Rogue series. Hugh and Lillias are in lust, but they don’t love each other … except maybe they do?!? More emotional and a little less spicy than the first 2 in the series, but it sticks the landing. The banter is delicious.

Quick, holiday-themed read from an author who loves love and spice.
