Way better than the first book. The FMC was way more intriguing and the MMC was just better in all aspects.

Edit: Why the fuck is Tyson the best out of all these mfs. The bar is in HELL.

This book series is brilliant. I cant believe I waited so long to finally read them but I always believe certain media finds me at the right times.
I’m genuinely so impressed by this series and the ideas within the book. Not only is the general idea of gryphons something that is new and diverse, it is written unbelievably well.
Different than your typical dragon stories! And this is a feminist book. The main character is a girl tasked with a tough job of being a chosen for a God who historically had represented the man. But no, Sivanna Walker takes her task and absolutely bodies everyone in her path. She’s such a strong character while also keeping her empathy. Her friend group is also amazing and I love found family tropes so much.
I simply cannot wait for the next book in the series.
I have read hundreds of books in my life time but only 13 books are 5 stars for me, and this series is definitely one of them. I’m impressed beyond belief.

Love love love love this book series. Honestly, one of my favorite i’ve ever read. It’s tense and fast paced with such good characters. Some of the best characters that i’ve ever read are in this book. Again, so much love to this series!!

i think this book is brilliant. It’s really a good book about overcoming misogyny and the misogynistic tendencies embedded within our culture.
Sivanna, a well written depiction of a teenage girl having to fight against the patriarchal society she was violently thrown into.
I think she’s one of my favorite characters i’ve read in a long time.
Pick up this book for a good, quick read.

Ryat’s name is the only cool part of this book. Was I hooked? Yes. Was it good from an actual writing perspective? No. The world building is so ass, it’s laughable. That’s not why i read it though. 2 stars for okay-ish smut.

it took me FOREVER to read this book. it dragged for sooooo long during the first 100 pages but after that i read it within a day after it taking me months. the ending was super rushed, everything eventful happening in the last 40 pages. i hate that. overall, i love the representation but the book could have done so much more instead of dragging on the whole book.
