A great end to the series. The last battle was incredible and paced wonderfully. Standout characters were Maquin, Camlin, Lykos, and Coralen. You can see Gwynne’s evolution as a writer in this series, and if you find Malice to slow or sloppily written I implore you to stick with it.

Wow, this one’s awful. Unlikable characters, boring plot, nothing really spooky, just bad. It sucks because the last one was genuinely good.

One of the only books to genuinely frighten me. The first half of this book is amazing with a really likable cast of characters. Around the halfway mark it gets incredibly depressing. I liked the ending, but wish it was longer, it felt a little rushed.

The best Goosebumps book so far. This is the first one of the series I remember reading as a kid and I can see why. Concept was cool and the twist was decent. Characters weren’t the best but were alright. I hate the way Stine writes bullies.

Slight improvement on the second book. A lot of exciting and tense moments in here. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The only problem is it might have been a little too long, but I’m not really complaining.

Cool concept, but man is this one boring. Annoying characters and ridiculous ending, not even that funny bad.

An improvement to the first book in every way, most notably in the characters.

Nice amount of cheese. The ending was too much.

Okay start, some really bad lines towards the end. Best part was the dream about eating bones.
