A beautiful portrayal of South Africa during the time of apartheid and tge struggles by blacks to survive.

A deeply philosophical book, it makes for an interesting read when you want soneone to guide you into different philosophical viewpoints. Tbe main character is torn between two worlds as his world view changes as a result of moving far away from home.
