The Scribbles on Bar Napkins by Kaycee Sommer
5.0
I appreciated the direct language and “on your face” images that Kaycee Sommer depicts and just the honesty behind the feelings she talks about.
It’s relatable, it’s felted, it makes you feel less lonely, and because of the sense of belongingness I found smiling too at her words.

Letting You Go: a poetry collection by Tianna Page
4.0
The book left me with mixed up emotions. To let go has always been a big struggle for me and to read about what I assume is the author’s journey (or just of the speaker) has unsettle me. Somehow I often forget that there is someone that probably is going or has gone through some of the feelings I have. To realise it, gives me hope but also leaves me sad at the same time, each time. The book speaks about letting go a lover, a toxic parent and fear.
The writing is crystal clear, some words are a bit harsher than others, but it’s an easy read which I think balances well with the more dense themes.

Photogenic Afterthoughts by Adam Shove
5.0
It’s raw, the furthest thing from romantic and it will leave you with an aftertaste of vodka still burning on your throat.
Adam’s imagery is strong, detailed and yet full of metaphors that still gives you space to fill up the gaps with your own thoughts.
Absolutely recommend it!

Dear friends,
I am so excited (and anxious!) for you to read my second poetry collection! Secondary Poems has been a three years long journey and it's a joy to let it go, to let it meet you. I hope you'll enjoy it and that you'll find words for you to take with you. I am looking forward to reading your thoughts.
Warm hugs to whoever wants them and lots, lots of gratitude to everyone.
