This was slow moving for me at first but I have not been moved to tears from a book in a long time. A love story on more than one level. A woman and man but also a story of how one's love can extend to a woman with a child (not her own).

And her writing just resonated in the last 1/3 of the novel.

My favorite "a real life doesn't mean getting what you want; the achievement, the privilege, too, is knowing what you love.

But getting what you love? Having what you love love you back? Oh, my friend, it's miracle;your one tiny life's head-on collision with divinity."

This is being moved to one of my favorite books of all times. This was smart, funny, and charming book. Connected immediately to the main character, Juliet. The kind of person I would want to meet in person.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My son thinks this book is a lot of fun. Of course, I have to play along with the book and give lots of mushy kisses.....

A mystery that is not like anything I have read before. Suspenseful and a page turner.

I always get into books that involve food. A nice romance with a restaurant theme.

I expected more--could not connect with the father who was writing this memoir regarding his daughter. Disappointed.

Love the hope message in this book. Sometimes you just need to read a youth novel to get perspective....

How can you not love an elephant named pickles? Teaches a valuable lesson to kids about stepping outside their comfort zones and be able to love differences in friendships.
