Another great love story by Tia Williams. I love how her stories give depth & characteristics & insight & history! It is a great read just before I go to NYC myself. I really enjoyed it. It’s not too heavy of a read but just enough to get you through! (For those of us who like emotional & heavy reads)

I love anything S.A. Crosby! The tugs at your heart strings plus the call to action just makes the book a great read. I love the development of the  main characters. Would definitely recommend this book to others.

This book was heart breaking & heartwarming at the same time. I really enjoyed how this book took place during political unrest and showed how everyday people survived. I live the discussion of family dynamics and how diverse each character was. Throughout the book I had hope Patience was gonna find her mom. I was also scared she wouldn’t leave Nigeria by the end of the book. Overall, it was a great read! Loved it
