Okay so... This is not a *horrible* book BUT!
It's extremely average in its genre, but pebbled with nearly all my bookish pet peeves (also, the narrator on Scribd can't pronounce Kringle! sincerely, an actual danish person)
Spoiler's ahead!
1) agressively heteronormative
2 the 'my husband is sleeping with his hot, blonde colleague - oh no he is not she's gay' thing is underdeveloped and strange as hell
4) Getting pregnant at 45, by a ONS, after decades of trying is both triggering and highly uncommen! Take it from this infertile reader
3) when you date someone, while carrying someone else's baby - tell them!
4) When you tell your new SO that you are preggers with someone else(after 4 months) I find it unbelievable that their response is 'it's difficult to be upset about a baby'
5) When you travel a long way to tell the bio-father, ex husband, about the baby - actually tell him.
6) Generally just tell people if you are carrying their child...
My goodness 🙄

Cute & fun romance book. The setting was GREAT - I've never read a book with a 25-year old in the setting of a retirement community.
However, it was very predictable and the ending was one of those "everything is fixed with one big hug"
And the "sisters" being sisters for the first 300 pages is problematic and also see-through (if you know you know).
