I read the whole book in one day - very engaging psychological thriller about a woman and a creepy psychiatrist and all the things that happen. Recommend for a beach read (or long airplane ride).

The writing is exquisite in this story collection full of little and big truths and lovely turns of phrase. I didn’t love Fates and Furies but I’m so glad I gave this collection a chance.

A semi-autobiographical story about growing up as a woman in Brooklyn in a Palestinian immigrant household. I may have rounded up because of the underrepresented voices & the author’s bravery in writing this book. Unfortunately, the writing was just ok, but it’s still worth a read.

A sequel to the Handmaids Tale, this book is a page turner but lacks the intrigue, complexity, and intelligence of the former. The Handmaids Tale had moments that have stuck with me my whole life and changed the way I see the world. The Testaments will not, but it was an engaging read.
