I tired to listen to this in two sittings and I got burned out from it.

The audiobook didn't work for me. It grated on my nerves. I think I need to try again and actually read it myself.
People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry
5.0
I really loved this friends-to-lovers romance. It was super cute, emotional, sensual, and just a lot of fun to read. I related to both Poppy and Alex on a deep level. This is my second Emily Henry book and I've loved both. I look forward to reading more books written by her.
Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross
5.0
RUTHLESS VOWS was everything I wanted in a sequel to DIVINE RIVALS and more. I was hooked on page one and despite the bittersweet ending, I loved this story immensely. I loved seeing more of the magic in this installment and learning more about Enva and Dacre and even getting their perspective every now and then. I really enjoyed seeing the contrast between Enva and Dacre's relationship and Iris and Roman's as the story progressed. I'm so excited I decided to read this duology at this time.
Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross

Gah! I’m glad I chose to read DIVINE RIVALS after RUTHLESS VOWS was published. I need to read the rest of this story now!
DIVINE RIVALS was such a compelling read. I loved the premise so much. It felt like a “You’ve Got Mail” story taking place during a war between Hades and Persephone but from the human perspective. I loved gradually learning about Enva and Dacre through the myths Iris and Roman shared with each other. Speaking of Iris and Roman, i loved them so much. The chemistry between them was fantastic. I loved their banter.

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

I really liked LOVE ON THE BRAIN. It was so much fun and it got me in the mood to read to again. I went into this thinking it was an enemies-to-lovers romance, which is one of my favorite tropes, but this was more of a blind-to-reality to lovers story. Despite the fact that Bee, a PhD neuroscientist, was a little dense in figuring out that Levi didn’t hate her, he loved her, I still enjoyed this You’ve Got Mail -esque story. I loved the chemistry between Bee and Levi. I loved their banter and humor once all the miscommunication issues got cleared up. I also loved Schrödinger and Félicette (their cats). They endeared me to them and the story more.
The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
4.0
I couldn't sleep last night because of reasons so I decided to crochet and listen to THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME audiobook. I'm so glad it was as engaging as it was because it made the long sleepless night short and as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.
I really liked this story. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I feel like I went through the gambit of emotions just like Hannah. I guessed some of the reasons behind why things happened, but I thought the story was still engrossing. I thought the ending was bittersweet and, honestly, I feel like if Laura Dave wanted to write a sequel, she could. I personally think the author ended the story in the perfect place for this type of book.

SIGN HERE was different than I thought it would be. I didn't love it, but I enjoyed the premise. I thought some aspects of it were funny while other aspects were frustrating. I thought there were way too many POV, but I understood why they were needed. I liked the ending more than I thought I would because it made me think about life, its ups and downs, loneliness, neglect, and love.
Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney

What a wonderfully creepy and disturbing tale. I especially loved the nod to Agatha Christie's AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. I'm so glad I decided to wait to read DAISY DARKER in October.
I knew about Daisy's predicament very early into the story. I just didn't know the how, the when, or the why, and I wasn't disappointed when all the questions were finally answered. I did feel like the story was dragged out a bit and I'm glad it didn't go on more than it did.
