This wasn’t my favourite of the Cormoran Strike Novels, but it was still very good! I found the first section of the book a tad boring and sometimes even hard to follow with all the politics involved in it as that is personally not a large interest of mine, but it was needed to fill the plot of the novel itself. Throughout the book I found it easier to read as it became more and more interesting. I also enjoyed the many twists and turns that it had taken. Overall I would recommend it, especially if your a big Strike fan!

Such a good read! A little confusing at first with the introduction of all the characters that will play a huge role in how the book begins to form. I loved how the story flowed and how the ending played out. Definitely recommend this read to anyone who loves small town drama as well as a good mystery.

Such an amazing book! Action packed and thrilling all in one!
The mystery itself was also very interesting and the motive regarding human behaviour and abnormal behaviour was a great play into the story line.
The story was pieced together very well and I felt there were no stone left unturned.
Would definitely recommend this book if you are a James Patterson fan!

SpoilerThis book had a great amount of mystery, romance, and really made you ask questions while reading it. I only gave four stars because I felt there could have been a little more suspense and thrill, but otherwise I throughly enjoyed the book and the way the writing flowed.
It was pieced together very nicely and in the end you really feel for Leah and how Emmy had such a hold on her.
I would recommend this book if small town drama, romance, and mystery are your thing!

Action packed, emotional, and kept you on your toes. You never knew who could Jack could trust through out the book. Every character played and important role and it was clear what their roles were. The writing was clear and the story was easy to follow. A must read if you are a James Patterson fan!

SpoilerA great story about greed, a twisted love triangle, lies, and of course murder! I only gave four stars because I personally found the beginning of the story a bit dry. It pulls you in with the car crash but then slowly builds up to the events that transpired before and afterwards (which is when it really grabs your attention again)! Even though I found it slow, that pace was crucial to understanding the characters and their back story. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of a good plot twist and mystery.

The Lifeguard Lawyer: I was engaged the whole time! It was a great story of tragedy, mystery, and a hint or romance. The characters all had interesting backgrounds which made the story lively. Twist endings all around!
The Doctors Plot: Probably my favourite novel of the three that were included in this book. The story gave me chills. The way they portrayed each character and how evil most of them turned out to be was spine chilling! The ending was not one i was expecting and would definitely recommend reading it!
The Shut-In: A very rare circumstance leading to a huge mystery. I loved every twist and turn this novel took on. The main character Tricia is loveable and you feel for her through the whole story. The ending was great in so many ways!

Overall loved this book and the three amazing and thrilling novels within it. James Patterson has done it again with an amazing collaboration with Doug Allen, Connor Hyde, and Duane Swierczynski. Would definitely recommend this book for the mystery and how well written it is!

SpoilerThis book I flew through! It was packed full of suspense and you could feel every emotion as you read it! I enjoyed all the different characters and their different perspectives. The writing itself was smooth and had a great flow. The ending was a happy one which always makes things better but the not knowing until then is what keeps you intrigued. Would recommend this book for anyone who likes a fast pace sort of suspense!
