Tense, graphic and kinda chilling in places. The author uses sarcasm and dry (British style) humour which is kind of strange in this context but also clever and quite likeable.

I love the rivers of London series I’ve read all of them including the spin-offs and short stories. This book didn’t meet my expectations it’s probably the worst read of all of the series which is why I’m kinda disappointed.

One of the most graphic horror novels dealing with difficult subject matter that many would not want to read. I really enjoyed it but it does contain a lot of gore.
