Going into this book, I was so excited, but now I am just disappointed.  I thought  the concept was fun and would play a nice homage to one of my favourite singers. It did NOT! Instead I was presented with a useless male lead and a female lead that was so annoying I had to restrain from throwing things.

Truly Riley was not a good character and the way she believed that her break up songs were her claim to fame and that was it.... was just so meh... And it was especially degrading to Ms Swift who gave way to the inspo,... Break up songs are not the only thing she writes and to water her performance down to that is just an insult to the name and hard work she has done to get rid of that image of herself. 

Max honestly could have been skipped from the story completely.... really what was his purpose other than to wax poetically about Riley.... There was honest to no growth from him. 

And the Epilogue.... really ? That was the most unbelievable thing of the entire thing....

I just struggled with this book. The blurb on the back does not fully encircle what the story was about... Rory was basically just there as a yumminess and a man with a stutter... The lack of communication about his speech issues was frustrating because that was basically like hiding a part of himself. As for Sam... truly she continued to get hung up on the age gap which was frustating because either embrace or spot with the piece of meat comments either. 

But the kicker ! Seriously! A surprise pregnancy!! As soon as that came into play, I lost interest because honestly the characters lost interest and basically became all about the baby. ALso the cousin's reach was fucking extreme! I understand she was having her only issues... but to be that much of bitch when Sam had been going through the same thing was just shitty.... And I didn't enjoy that this became the full problem and the solution was just..... messy.

This was something to experience ! I am glad I read it, but it had some of my least favourite tropes. The world building was cool though and it’s nice to see sci fi represented!!

I think there are some really good tips in this book. The one thing I really appreciated was the idea of everyone's time being equally valued regardless of what each partner does for work. It does focus a lot more on family with children. But an interesting concept!

Wow!! This volume just turned everything up! Another close call! Some trauma dumping ! Some cuteness ! I just... I have really fallen in love with these characters and the world that has been create!!

Seriously! I just love this series !! This volume was so well paced and we got a wonderful snap shot into the lives of Al and Akira! I love the dynamic that was created between the two of them with the introduction of the new character! But the fact that Akira came to look for Al after their fight because of what happened the last time... Swooning !! I cannot wait to see what an absolute disaster the filming is going to entail !!!!

I just really adored this! It so cute but there is depth to the story! Al as a freaking bat coming to work with Akira is just precious af ! You can see the growing attraction between the two of them! And simply the WORRY they have for each other is what really does me in !

Okay but I was not expecting this to be so delightful! Truly! This was funny and heartbreaking at the same time ! Also Al as a bat is adorable and I am loving how Akira is like no you have to learn something which is so precious!! I am excited so see how this progresses but there is deffs going to be some laughs along the way! I just know it !!

Holy !! Things got turned way up in this volume ! But seriously ! I am ....in love with this story! God did I love so many aspects of it! And getting to the spice .... fuck yes !!! Like there were so many emotions and it was just so absolutely delicious!! Chef's kiss multiple times over ! Honestly I am sad the series is one hiatus but I can't wait for when it comes back! It'll be worth it ! I fully believe that !!!

Oh this was an absolute delight! I love the sense of humour and how slow burn not slow burn this is!! Rin is ridiculously adorable ! I love him! Not only the possessiveness, but him learning basic human skills! I am going to love this story!! And I can't wait to see how they grow in their love!!
