I loved the movie, and I love this book. The end makes me sad, but regardless, it is a fantastic graphic novel.

I first tried reading this book after being gifted it for my 13th birthday. I tried reading it at least one other time between then and now. I read the first section at least 3 times. I am so glad I finally got through this book. It's such a fantastic and painful read. I wanted to cry through most of it, especially being at a point in my life, four years after getting this book, where I relate a lot to Charlie. I'm grateful to have had a significantly easier life in comparison to her, but it still hits just as hard to see thoughts I could never put into words written out for me to read.

As someone who has never been religious but is trans, this hits hard. Coming from my growing up atheist, I sort of saw Seraph as a way of showing what it feels like to be forced to be something you're not. It feels like being ripped apart from the inside out just to be what everyone else wants you to be.

I think either I read this book too quickly or it would've worked better if the story slowed down just a bit. I would love to see this animated, I think it would make for a really good animated series.

I always say that a book makes me want to cry -- this was the first to do so in I don't even know how long. Words cannot describe how much I love this book. It perfectly captures why we should cherish every moment we are given. Life is so beautiful -- all the pain and sorrow is worth every moment of beauty and joy. There is so much to experience and so much to live. And I'm so glad I made it.

I knew nothing about this book going into it, but I am so glad I picked it up. There were so many moments that made me want to cry. It was so beautifully written, and I already want to re-read it.
