My first finished Austen novel! One down, six more to go for my 2025 reading goal!!

Loved this story. The writing (or narration) took some getting used to, but I was able to keep up through most of it. Even more understanding of the timelessness of Jane’s writing!

This was a very well written book. The time jumps took some getting used to, but I caught on quickly. As a mother of a young son (whose nickname is Bear), the Bear storyline GUTTED me.
Loved the Gone Girl style HEA ending.

A continuation of a beloved series, this was a wonderful return to the archipelago of the Fae Isles. Thys was going THROUGH it, and I loved her journey of self-realization. Also Naxi is just a wonderfully written character, and I loved them together.

Great close to the duology!! Loved the story of
rebirth and how Kary’s powers connected to not just Draven, but the whole court.
