This little novella is an absolute delight! A fresh take on Sleeping Beauty, Kingfisher weaves a tale that is light and sweet, but perfectly balanced with dark themes. As always, her characters are charming, her writing is excellent, and the story is totally engrossing. She's one of my favourite authors and a new book is always a treat!
