I loved the author's note about her writing process. Reading these felt like reading fanfiction. It was nice being able to say another farewell to the characters. I also appreciated that each section had spoiler warnings and context.

This book is meant to make you uncomfortable. There aren't neat little boxes or categories of good or bad. It's stressful and uncertain. The author has such a unique way of describing people. It shows that writing is an art, perception and creation, constantly chasing meaning.

I wish I saw more people taking about this book.

I enjoy the story. There's just a lot going on all at once.

A medium to high fantasy world. Nobody is perfect but some people are definitely worse. The descriptions of various magics and creatures are concise enough to not be a drag on someone who already has an idea. It paints a spooky picture. The mood of the ending is
not perfect but definitely satisfying.

My first funny book! I didn't realize it when I first picked it up but I giggled my way to that discovery. I love seeing characters make mistakes and be better because of them. The growth in this book feels so genuine. I love these characters and this story.

I can't imagine a better ending. But what a torturous journey to get there. This is one of those book where I have to sit in silence for a couple days just to process the grief of losing this series and these characters.
