I liked how she really grows as a character and their romance slowly develops through the course of the story. Definitely thought this was nice
Shelter in Place by Nora Roberts

Nora Roberts proceeds to become my favorite romance author of all time. There were some areas where it went by too slow and wanted it to be faster whereas some parts went too fast and wanted it to go by fast. Those were definitely some of the reasons why I didn't rate it 5 stars and only rated it 4 stars. Still loved this book though!

I didn't like this as much as The Rose which is book 2 of the series which I accidentally read before book one. Luckily they are standalones so it was fine for me to read book 2. This was good but I did prefer book two.

3.5 stars. I found it interesting and kind of sad. My review will be going up next week on my blog Veronica Chen

I learned a lot about this book and it really helped with some aspects to the research for my book that I'm writing. This is more of an educational read than a fun read unless you enjoy the nonfiction aspects of this book. Would definitely recommend though!

UPDATE ON MAY 16, 2020: There's a blog post on my blog so go check it out!
Dracul by J.D. Barker, Dacre Stoker

Dracul was a five star for me because it really kept me on my toes. The original legend of Dracula has always been fascinating for me and I continue to be fascinated with such tales. While I do not know if I'd reread this in the near future, I may in the very far future. Very much enjoyed this book and I'm excited to read more vampire-related books.
Blázni a smrtelníci by Bernard Cornwell

I'm giving this a 1.5 star. It honestly was boring and I just skimmed the book. I bought this a few years ago and I never picked it up and decided to now and honestly, I nearly dnf'd this book. I wish this book was better and while I liked the historical aspect, I've read other historical fiction about Shakespeare that were much better than this. I wish I enjoyed this more and maybe I would have liked it when I first bought it. But, having read it now, it was completely boring.

That being said, I do want to read other Bernard Cornwell books and hopefully it turns out better than this book.
