Yesssss!!! Oh my gosh so many great things happened in this book! I am so in this journey! All the characters are still so loveable and am excited for the new characters introduced and ones that were mentioned that will appear in future books.

Predictable plot but still fun.

Oh man this book. Amazing banter, open door scenes, and a wild ride. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Scottie's background was the most interesting background I've read from a FMC. I cannot wait to read the other two in this series.

It’s strange how you can have your heart locked up for years, then out of nowhere the right person comes along and it’s like they know the exact combination to open up everything about you and make you want something more.

“True love isn’t the same as love at first sight. It’s not your first love. It’s the one you can stand with in a storm. It’s having them see everything you lack and hearing you’re worthy. It’s fighting for them when they don’t know how. It’s the one who lights the darkest parts of your soul on fire so life can bloom again. It’s hearing those three words and truly understanding their meaning.”

From beginning to end this was the perfect romantic comedy. I need this turned into a movie. The friendship was so fun.

Words are like seeds, I think, planted into our hearts at a tender age. 
They take root in us as we grow, settling deep into our souls. The good words plant well. They flourish and find homes in our hearts. They build trunks around our spines, steadying us when we're feeling most flimsy; planting our feet firmly when we're feeling most unsure. But the bad words grow poorly. Our trunks infest and spoil until we are hollow and housing interests of others and not our own.

Cute! This is my favorite of this author's. It has everything for a romantic comedy - great story, great character development, cute MMC, fun setting. I really enjoyed this one!

Adam's pov!!! This makes me even more excited for this series' love triangle but I might have to declare Team Warner right now haha.

How does Abby Jimenez create an entire story with multiple character arcs and leave you with so many emotions and swoony feelings in just 80 pages?! She's a godsend.

“So you have a fish?” I asked. “Yeah. A betta fish.” “Oh. Does he have a name?” “He does. Swim Shady.” I barked out a laugh. “Is he the real Swim Shady or . . .” “All the other Swim Shadys are just imitating,” he said, totally serious.

“Sometimes the start of something good begins during something bad,” he said. “We don’t get to pick when these things happen.”

As Tangled is my favorite of all time I've been so excited to read this and it totally held up! I'm obsessed. I loved this contemporary take. It was so incredibly well done!! 

I'm actually really disappointed I didn't love this as much as many other people. I love a grumpy cowboy and all but.... I could not click with anything in this book. Super sad and disappointed.
