Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger
4.0
This is the perfect pool-side-reading book for any Sex And the City Fan. The story follows three nearly-thirty-year-old women who are eager to get married and settle down. Through a series of upsets, they find that in order to make yourself happy, you need to do what is right for you- not what is right for someone else.
Room by Emma Donoghue
4.0
This book is unlike any other I've ever read. The first two chapters were really slow moving and I couldn't get into them. I was pleasantly surprised with the third and forth chapters that kept me on the edge of my seat. Overall, the ending was a bit boring. The storyline does make you think, and stays with you for a long time.
Swimsuit by Maxine Paetro, James Patterson

This book was suspenseful and twisted, making it difficult to put down. It centers arounda group of very rich people called The Alliance, who hire a killer to videotape executions for their entertainment. Because the chapters were very short, it was easy to pick up and read for a few minutes at a time.
The Manny by Holly Peterson

This book had some decent parts but overall, I couldn't wait for it to end so I could read something else.
Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin
3.0
The protagonist is a very likeable and honest girl who is dealing with a complex relationship between her lifelong friend and her fiance. I wasn't particularly excited about the ending but it won't stop me from reading the sequel!
Something Blue by Emily Giffin

The sequel to "Something Borrowed," this book follows Darcy who was my least favorite character in the first book. Despite this, I enjoyed the book because of the character development and maturity that Darcy discovers. I still would have liked to have seen the events from Rachel's perspective, though.
Baby Proof by Emily Giffin

This was my least favorite of the Emily Giffin novels I have read so far. The narrator annoyed me and there wasn't a resolution at the end. It was just o.k. In my opinion.
