This was a bit of a weird book. It wasn’t what I expected in the slightest and overall I found it a bit underwhelming. However, I was interested throughout and wanted to know how it ended, it just all felt a bit ‘meh’.

I loved the concept of this book and enjoyed it for the most part, but it got a bit repetitive towards the end. It was a lovely book though with an important message!

An absolutely stunning book. Laini Taylor is one of my absolutely favourite authors. Her writing is so beautiful, and I love all the characters. The story itself is so magical and wonderful - a must read for any fantasy lovers!
