Birdie, violet and Alaric had a messy love story. An evil step mother, step sisters in a secret relationship, and a man who they desperately need help from. While Alaric is reluctant to help them he quickly finds himself protective over birdie. Violets mother is truly evil and out to hurt birdie as much as possible. I found the initial dynamic between the three of them interesting where Violet and Alaric were almost competing over her but I really loved it when they decided all three of them belonged together. It was a great quick read with lovable characters.

Killian and Lilah had a long, hard, and messy road to get to their HEA but once they figured things out they were perfect for each other. The two of them clearly still cared for each other even when they hated each other. After refusing to speak to each other for years when they are forced back into each other’s lives it forces them to figure out their past and how to move forward.
I loved the chemistry between them. I loved that Lilah was able to hold her own against all the men in her life. I loved how Killian was all for protecting her even when they stopped speaking for years. I loved the dynamics between this large group of friends/family members.

Ahhh I could not put this book down. These characters are messy and all have a lot of very different issues. Over the book emme slowly started letting her guys support her even if she was terrified of what that would mean for her. Kellan is the best kind of golden retriever and I couldn’t help but love him immediately. Hunter was strong and protective I loved that his strength allowed emme to lean on him some. Slade is an interesting addition and I can’t wait to see how possessive he will be of emme in the future. Finley on the other hand did not win me over in this book. I understand that he has trauma but the way he acted toward emme came off as a my trauma is worse/more important than yours. I really hope emme makes him grovel when he finally gets over himself. I’m happy I waited until book 2 was almost out to read this one. I would start it immediately if it was out already.

Ok so I rave about it in every Tate/jaymin book but I love the way they write together. They do it so amazingly that you can’t even tell it’s a cowrite.
Now onto the actual book. I friggen loved it. It was messy and complicated, the characters are all dealing with their own issues.
Eves issues we learn about pretty much from the start. Terrible things happened to her and she’s handling them as best as she can.
The guys are all different and I love that while there different they all fit into the group so well. Eve has a different relationship with each of them and I enjoyed them all for different reasons.
There were some curveballs thrown into the building relationships that were not my favorite and I’m curious to see how they will resolve before the end of the duet but I have faith that Tate and Jaymin won’t let us down.
When it comes to the guys at the moment there are some that I love (Ethan/Brodie/haze), one that I like but am kinda mad at (Conner), and one that I currently don’t like (Drew). I’m sure I’ll love Conner by the end but man does Drew need some work for me to love him.
I’m interested to see where things end up in book two and to find out how this group is going to manage a HEA.
Oh yea and I’m sure this goes without saying but prepare yourself for the cliffie and then end of this one.

I’ll be honest and say that this book took me a while to start. I wasn’t sure I wanted Seth to have a redemption story. Like many of Talia’s pack I still hated him even if she didn’t.
Seeing Seth’s trauma over everything that happened did not make what he did ok. It did however make me understand him and the hard position he was put in. He was left in a terrible position and in his panic did not make the right choices to make things better. He did however try to make them as right as he could after the situation. It doesn’t erase them but I think he deserves to move on. If Talia can forgive and understand him then so I can I.
Desie, Michael and Benny were amazing. They had a history and loved each other so much. The way Seth just fit with them was perfect. They were stuck in a hard position and needed to find their missing piece. Desie is amazing and while she’s not quite as loud and blunt as Talia I can see the similarities with them.
Seth wants them all to be his pack but he doesn’t think he deserves them. Desie did such an amazing job helping him through his issues.
I’m interested to see how things with the bad guys will unravel. Avanne does an amazing job keeping us guessing and trying to figure things out.

Well it’s official I’m in love with Leo Sinclair. These Sinclair men know how to make sure their woman is the center of their world and Leo was no different. He wanted Addie from the moment he laid eyes on her. He supported her and showed her that she could lean on him. He was amazing with the girls too and transitioned into dad mode so easily.
Addie was scared to trust again after her past but she couldn’t ignore the connection to Leo for long. She was strong and able to stand on her own but Leo showed her that she didn’t have to.
I loved watching these 4 ( the kids too) fall in love with each other. I also loved Addie and the girls being welcomed into the Sinclair/ryan clan like they always belonged.
