The Atonement by Kiersten Modglin
3.0
⭐⭐⭐
This was my least favorite book of the series. It felt stretched out unnecessarily, and the pacing was inconsistent. Some parts were fast-paced, but the majority of the book dragged for me. It was the slowest read of the series, and I honestly think the story could have ended with book one. That said, I stuck with it because I wanted to see how everything wrapped up.

The Amendment by Kiersten Modglin
3.0
⭐⭐⭐
I enjoyed The Amendment by Kiersten Modglin, but not as much as the first book in the series. That being said, I still couldn’t put it down—I was eager to see how the story would unfold. There were some good plot twists that kept me hooked, but overall, it felt like the series is being stretched out more for the sake of continuing than for maintaining its original quality. Despite that, I’m still looking forward to seeing what happens next in book three!
The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin
3.5
⭐⭐⭐⭐
“The Arrangement” by Kiersten Modglin is an absolute page-turner! From the first chapter, I was hooked and didn’t want to put it down. The story is so gripping, with twists and turns that keep you guessing at every corner. And the ending? Completely unexpected!!!!!! I was floored, my jaw literally dropped. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Modglin threw in another twist! I was SOOOOOO stunned. If you love suspenseful thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat, this is a must-read. The only reason it’s not a full five stars for me is because I wanted a bit more depth in certain parts of the story. Still, it’s an addictive read that I’d highly recommend!

Never Let You Go by Caleb Crowe
3.75
⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had the chance to read an ARC of Never Let You Go by Caleb Crowe, and it was such a gripping read! The way the story alternated between the past and present until the timelines came together was so well done and kept me hooked the entire time. The suspense built perfectly, and I couldn’t put it down.
I also really appreciated the character development. Each character felt genuine, and their growth added so much to the story. It was such an immersive and well-paced read, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a suspenseful, engaging book!

Stephen King’s Pet Sematary is one of those books that keeps you on edge the whole time. It’s spooky, suspenseful, and packed with moments that are downright creepy. Some parts are so uncomfortable they’ll make your skin crawl, but at the same time, you just can’t stop reading.
The way the story builds up is so tense, and the twists keep you hooked until the very end. It’s definitely a page-turner and one of those books that stays with you because it’s scary in a way that feels real. If you love a good, unsettling story, this one’s for you!
25 Days by Per Jacobsen
3.25
⭐⭐⭐
I thought 25 Days by Per Jacobsen was a pretty good read overall. I really liked the day-by-day advent calendar setup—it was a fun way to tell the story and kept me interested. But the ending was a letdown. After all the build-up, I expected more, and it just didn’t deliver. Still, it was an okay book, just not as good as I hoped.
