Just finished this one a couple days ago. It is so good. I'd recommend it to any woman. Not your typical love story but much more realistic. Also beautifully depicts this woman's travels around the world. Amazing. Must read.

People were very right about the writing style. It is written more like poetry so it takes a little getting used to. The storyline takes a little to get going but once it does it grabs you & won't let go. I think I actually beat my own speed record & I certainly wasn't trying. I actually cried near the end & it takes a lot for me to do that. Beautiful story about love & complicated family as well as tragedy & forgiveness.

I didn't want it to end but I couldn't put it down! John green once again makes me think & rethink, contemplate things that once seemed simple. A realistic story of finding oneself & love & loss. highly recommended.

I only took so long to read the book because I couldn't read it at night before bed like I normally do. Just like in gone girl, the second you think you've got it figured out, things change & then in the end you had no idea. I was also afraid the ending couldn't leave me satisfied. like an episode of dateline, no matter what you're still sad at the end. somehow, though, a great ending is achieved; much unlike gone girl! Consider me now an official Gillian Flynn fan & now can't wait for this movie in a few months!
