I love the beginning of the book. Reading it after knowing almost everything about it from news, I'm glad i still find things i am surprised about. It was such a fun read and i can't wait to read on the next one.
The book is interestingly witty and antagonistic. It revolves around the four people that created a suicide pact that delays their plan of suicide. It worked, though it seemed to have worked too fast and well. the characters are complicated to like, there are times the flaw aren't the focus nor did it highlight the character's traits. It seemed to just fill the air.
Despite that, the book had a lot of philosophical (though, twisted) view about life. It was simply, take it as it is and move on. I like how the character's didn't have a large development but there was a hint of beginning to, or it turning it around, which i think, is what matters the most. Giving hope.
The book was good in terms of plot and educational on the side of hanndling children. I found it odd that children would know their parents are having *kinky* group sex with one another . It is also hard to focus on the flaw of the main character when she holds herself in a high pedestal for being fat then complains when others dislike her cause she would feel bad. There were lot of focus on Bunny, rather than the actual story which was aa bit anticlimactic. It was a fast read due to the pages and quite interesting in some points. Still, the book felt too rushed at the end.
I liked the characters. They are very reflective and unlike most books I've read, they come with real assumptions with evidences. Though, the pace was slow and the end was a bit rushed. I felt like there is not much given thought on the killer's motive at the end and the other case was even more rushed, with the killer already being known. The writing is nice and casual, nothing over the top with descriptions which is nice for me.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

It is a medium paced book. I find it hard to continue when the bear was killed because there was no actual hint of it and my heart goes out to animals.. The characters are great, they are very human and I can hear their personalities in the writing style. I love the development of the protagonist with the supporting ones because there is a good development that goes beyond his goal which is reaally good for me.
I love the book so much that I finished it in one day. The characters are absolutely fun, relateable as kids. There is a lot of creativity and funny events thst surely can relax anyone that reads it.
The book is very light hearted, it is sad and very emotional. It is perfect for coming-of-age as an adolescent. I love the characters, especially Wilbur and his courage.
The book is very reflective when writing sbout the character. There are a lot of grief and sadness, and how trauma is lived by the characters. The book deeply explores love and pain as well as how dreams are our memories.
